Chi Machine
Am I really exercising on the Chi Machine?
15 minutes on the Chi Machine is equivalent to 90 minutes of walking
exercise in terms of oxygenation of the blood whilst the internal organs
are massaged simultaneously by the gentle movement. It is extremely valuable
to those who through age or physical limitations are unable to exercise.
Using a minimum amount of effort, a maximum amount of benefit is achieved.
This is an aerobic exercise that will not tire you. It is not an aerobic
exercise that pushes you beyond your capacity. Keep using it and you
will be repaid with good health.
Is this type of exercise beneficial?
Every day, people consume a chemical cocktail from residues in farm products
and processed foods. Water supplies are often contaminated, we suffer
from air pollution, badly ventilated rooms, lack of exercise, and an
excess of highly processed foods and additives. All this is compounded
by stress and sedentary lifestyles. The side effects of drugs can cause
many ailments, among them - exhaustion, muscle stiffness, dizziness,
numbness, pains, itchiness, inflammation and sometimes panic attacks.
The Chi Machine will help eliminate body toxins and provide the essential
benefits of exercise without putting stress on the spinal vertebrae,
joints, heart and lungs and without depleting vital body energy levels
or causing injury. This can be done at any time, anywhere by anyone!
How do I know if my body needs oxygenation?
If you are experiencing any of the following problems, your body likely
needs oxygenation.
- I wake up tired, even after eight hours of sleep
- I have difficulty falling asleep or wake up frequently
- I suffer from chronic fatigue
- I have poor physical endurance
- I tend to be moody and irritable
- I am susceptible to colds and flu
- I suffer from allergies
- I frequently feel stressed
- I suffer from constipation
- I have difficulty breathing
- I have stiffness and pain in my shoulders/back
- I have weight problems
- I have cardiac symptoms
- I crave sweets, alcohol or cigarettes
If three or more of these statements apply to you, your body may not
be assimilating sufficient oxygen. You may wish to have your blood oxygen
levels tested both before and after you use the Chi Machine.
Why you have to drink water before and after using the
Chi Machine?
Before and after using the Chi Machine you have to drink some water
to help facilitate the removal of circulatory and metabolic waste materials
from the body by way of urine. This promotes good health.
Why do you have to remain lying still for two or three minutes
after using the Chi Machine?
When the Chi Machine stops, it is highly recommended that you not immediately
get up because you will have the sense of total collapse from head to
toe – the entire body. This is what Chinese herbal doctors call
the "oxygen-blood circulation." In fact, "Chi" is
sending messages throughout the internal body. Those who practice "Chi
Gong" are aware of this mysterious phenomenon. This internal massage
that occurs after the machine has stopped can produce as much as 60%
of the machine’s total effect -- even greater than the effect produced
during the actual swinging itself.
Why is the Chi Machine an aerobic exercise machine that increases
oxygen?
During use, the Chi Machine can stimulate gangliated nerves, expand capillaries,
enhance the ability to inhale oxygen so that it can reach cells located
deep into tissues and between cell boundaries, increase the oxygenation
of blood, and activate cells. This respiratory oxygen process is a key
to increased cell metabolism and improved health.
Why does "swinging" with the Chi Machine for fifteen
minutes have the effect of walking 10,000 steps?
Research shows that when you swing on a Chi machine for 15 minutes, it
can produce the same effect as walking 10,000 steps.
In other words, it can consume the equivalent amount of calorie burning
oxygen consumed during one and one half-hour’s of walking. Therefore,
15 minutes of swinging is often too aggressive for those who are not
used to such vigorous activity. They will complain of fatigue or even
feel generalized pain. They are simply out of shape or they haven't fully
recovered from unrelated injuries. But, after one has used it for some
period of time, some forget that 15 minutes of swinging equals 10,000
steps and wonder why they don't feel tired. One forgets because you lie
down during the exercise and you experience no pressure, your body has
total support and you feel relaxed. You will feel so at ease and so comfortable.
In addition, this is an aerobic exercise performed without getting tired.
It is not anaerobic exercise that pushes you beyond your capacity. Keep
using it and you will be repaid with good health.
Has the efficiency of the Chi Machine been verified as a health
appliance by any recognized agency?
Yes, it has been verified and certified by Japan’s Medical Affairs
Bureau. It has also been patented in 38 countries.
Why isn't the speed of the Chi Machine adjustable?
The speed of the Chi Machine was determined by rigorous and thorough
study. It precisely conforms to the body's metabolism whether the person
is frail, athletic, young or old. It moves the body in a perfect figure
eight. A faster or slower speed would produce an irregular figure of
eight which would actually damage the body.
Do you have to be young and healthy to use the Chi Machine?
Due to its low impact operation, it does no harm to the frail or elderly.
In fact there are some categories of people such as the wheelchair bound
and movement impaired who benefit greatly from the gentle massaging effect
created by the exerciser and its assistance in the movement of lymphatic
fluid in the body.
What effect does the Chi Machine have on Lymph fluids?
Lymph can only be moved around the body as the result of physical activity.
The Chi Machine effectively moves the body's fluids and aids the Lymphatic
system - particularly important for those who get very little exercise.
Professor Neil Piller (a world renowned Lymphoma researcher) said he
has found the Chi Machine to be the most efficient method of lymph drainage
that he has come across. It is also excellent in removing lactic acid
(a problem suffered by athletes).
What if I've got high blood pressure?
Passive aerobic exercise using the Chi Machine results in blood oxygenation
without physical effort, so neither heart rate nor blood pressure is
raised.
Can it cause any harm or side effects?
Massage/exercise in the lying down position ensures no possible injury.
The heartbeat and blood pressure do not increase because no effort is
exerted. (Massage in this context means the gentle massage effect on
the internal organs that occurs with the wave-like movements of the body)
I hope this helps to answer your questions, but if it isn't here, please
let me know so I can provide you with the clarity you seek. Thank you.
